Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Architect

We are seeking a Senior SAC Planning Architect to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions for a critical short-term engagement. This role requires a hands-on architect who can work closely with business and technical stakeholders, drive solution design, and ensure timely delivery against defined milestones.

This is a Bangalore-based role, and candidates must be available to work from the office at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAC Planning architecture, design, and implementation.
• Translate business planning and forecasting requirements into scalable SAC models.
• Design and build planning models, versions, data actions, allocations, and calendars.
• Support data integration from SAP and non-SAP sources into SAC.
• Define planning workflows, security models, and performance optimisation strategies.
• Work closely with business users, finance teams, and delivery stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during build, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot complex SAC planning issues and ensure solution stability.
• Support demos, walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer where required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of overall SAP experience with strong SAC Planning focus.
• Proven experience as a SAC Planning Architect / Lead Consultant.
• Deep hands-on expertise in:
  • SAC Planning Models
  • Data Actions & Advanced Formulas
  • Allocations & Forecasting
  • Version Management & Calendars
• Experience integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA, BW, or other data sources.
• Strong stakeholder communication and solution-design skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
