About the Role

Arj Global is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Architect / Sub-Domain Lead to strengthen our cyber engineering and security architecture capabilities.

This role will lead two cyber security sub-domains and work closely with engineering, platform, and product teams to ensure secure architecture and implementation of security controls across modern cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud security architecture, threat modelling, API security, and penetration testing practices, helping teams identify and mitigate security risks early in the development lifecycle.

This position requires close collaboration with engineering teams to drive secure design, secure coding practices, and enterprise security standards across cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cyber security initiatives across multiple security sub-domains
• Design and implement secure cloud architectures on Azure and GCP
• Ensure secure design of APIs, interfaces, and integrations across distributed systems
• Conduct and facilitate threat modelling workshops as part of the secure architecture process
• Support engineering teams in adopting secure development and DevSecOps best practices
• Implement and guide teams on GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) and secure coding standards
• Provide guidance on penetration testing findings, vulnerability remediation, and risk mitigation
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise cyber security frameworks, privacy standards, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to track security deliverables through Jira and Agile workflows
• Provide technical leadership and security architecture guidance to development teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Security Engineering, or Cloud Security roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in Cloud Security Architecture (Azure and GCP)
• Deep understanding of API Security, Integration Security, and Secure Interface Design
• Proven experience conducting Threat Modelling and Security Architecture Reviews
• Experience working with penetration testing, vulnerability management, and remediation strategies
• Hands-on experience implementing GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) and secure development practices
• Good understanding of security frameworks, cyber controls, and privacy practices
• Experience working in Agile environments with Jira-based delivery processes
• Strong communication, architecture documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML security risks and secure adoption of AI solutions
• Understanding of SAP infrastructure, SAP landscape security, or SAP security architecture
