About the Role
Arj Global India Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Solution Architect with deep experience in enterprise-level financial planning, budgeting, allocation, consolidation, and profitability analysis. The consultant will support our client in translating strategic financial planning requirements into robust and scalable SAC Planning solutions.
This is a techno-functional leadership role requiring strong FP&A domain knowledge and advanced SAC architectural expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Delivery
- Design and lead end-to-end SAC Planning solutions for enterprise-level financial planning, consolidation, and performance management.
- Architect Integrated Financial Planning models including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Operational Planning.
- Drive Cost Center, Profit Center, and Project/Portfolio-based planning including allocation logic.
- Establish data models for multi-level budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Align SAC models with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BPC, BW/4HANA, or other data sources using Live/Import connections.
- Develop input templates, planning forms, dashboards, stories, and predictive forecasting models.
Portfolio & Cost Allocation
- Enable project portfolio cost planning and investment prioritisation.
- Define and configure cost allocation methods (driver-based, SKF, proportional allocations).
- Build budget allocation logic across functions and Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
Consolidation & Profitability
- Support management consolidation processes through SAC or integration with Group Reporting/S/4HANA.
- Design profitability models by market, product, region, including scenario-based simulations.
- Integrate transfer pricing, FX simulations, and intercompany elimination logic where required.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Define governance, approval workflows, and role-based security structures for SAC Planning.
- Collaborate with product owners, CFO office, business controllers, IT teams, and SAC development teams.
- Conduct design workshops, requirement gathering sessions, user enablement, and continuous improvement reviews.
Requirements (Skills & Competencies)
- 10+ years in SAP Financials, including 3+ years dedicated to SAC Planning implementation & architecture.
- Proven experience in multi-entity, multi-currency financial planning and consolidation processes.

- Experience with S/4HANA Finance, SAP BPC, or Group Reporting (highly desirable).
- Hands-on exposure to SAP Datasphere / BW4HANA and SAP CALM for change management (preferred).
- Excellent understanding of financial KPIs, cost drivers, capital planning, and advanced financial modeling.
- Familiarity with performance analytics, visual storytelling, and what-if simulations.
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.
Preferred Certifications
- SAP Certified: SAC Planning / SAC Application Associate
- SAP Certified: S/4HANA Finance
