The Role

  • Design scalable dimensional and semantic models.
  • Develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate data from multiple business systems.
  • Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and turn them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, consistency and governance across reporting.
  • Tune datasets, reports and queries for performance and scale.
  • Build reusable semantic models that support self-service analytics.
  • Align reporting with enterprise data strategy alongside engineering and architecture teams.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and carry out root cause analysis.
  • Document designs, data flows, business rules and procedures.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development.
  • Proven Microsoft Fabric experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong skills in Power BI Desktop and Service, DAX, Power Query, dataflows and semantic models.
  • Solid data modelling and data architecture experience, including dimensional modelling and data warehousing.
  • Hands-on ETL/ELT design and implementation.
  • Experience integrating data from SQL Server, APIs, cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
  • Strong SQL and query optimisation skills.
  • Agile experience, and the ability to drive initiatives from requirements to deployment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science or similar.

Desirable

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).
  • Microsoft Fabric certification (DP-600 / DP-700) or equivalent.
  • Azure data services experience.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security and compliance.
  • Experience building executive dashboards and KPI reporting.

What’s on Offer

  • Hands-on work with the latest Microsoft data and analytics technologies.
  • A collaborative, innovation-driven team.
  • Career growth into data engineering, analytics and architecture.
