About the Role

Arj Global India is seeking an experienced Domain Enterprise Architect to lead and drive the strategic architecture vision across a complex enterprise landscape.

This role will be responsible for shaping architecture strategy, defining guardrails, and ensuring alignment across business domains, technology platforms, and the broader enterprise value chain. You will play a key role within the domain leadership team, influencing roadmap decisions and enabling scalable, future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Architecture & Leadership

• Define and drive the strategic architecture of the domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide goals and value chain optimisation
• Establish architecture guardrails, standards, and reference architectures to enable scalable and autonomous product teams
• Lead architectural decisions on legacy coexistence, modernisation, and capability placement

Roadmap & Transformation

• Own the architecture perspective of the domain roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic outcomes
• Drive prioritisation decisions by evaluating technical impact, dependencies, and long-term value
• Identify and manage cross-domain dependencies to enable seamless delivery across the enterprise

Enterprise Architecture & Governance

• Strengthen and evolve Enterprise Architecture practices across product and engineering teams
• Ensure alignment across systems to maintain a cohesive end-to-end value chain
• Provide technical governance, guidance, and assessments for key initiatives and investments

Problem Solving & Innovation

• Lead resolution of complex, cross-functional challenges impacting multiple teams
• Stay ahead of technology trends and innovations, applying them to drive business value
• Guide integration strategies with external ecosystems and enterprise partners

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Engage with senior stakeholders across business and technology
• Drive the domain agenda within leadership forums
• Mentor and develop teams to build a high-performing architecture capability

Key Requirements

Core Expertise

• Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture within large-scale engineering organisations
• Strong domain expertise in one or more areas:
  • HR
  • Finance
  • Procurement
  • Business Planning & Strategy

Technology & Architecture

• Proven experience designing scalable, internet-facing enterprise systems
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration, omnichannel, and digital platforms
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP ecosystem, including:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • Ariba
  • SuccessFactors

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership
• Strong experience in driving transformation and organisational change
• Ability to align business strategy with technology execution

Additional Capabilities

• Experience in defining reference architectures and governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of enterprise value chains and business processes
• Ability to operate in complex, global environments
