Backend Engineer
Location: Remote / Bengaluru preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of experience only considered.
Must Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript Minimum of 5+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Firestore/BigQuery, etc.)
- Experience designing and building scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices on GCP
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to GraphQL
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy backend services using Node.js and TypeScript on GCP
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes
